2004 OLYMPIC GAMES PRESS CENTRE - ATHENS, GREECE
Auditel is to supply the 2004 Olympic Games main press centre with it's electronic conference system . It will be used to coordinate international media coverage of the Games.
The sophisticated system includes 800 customised units, incorporating microphone, electronic voting, language selector and identity card reader, and features equipment for 12 interpreter booths and 11 CCTV cameras, which can be controlled automatically by Auditel's central conference computer software. Auditel won the Olympic Games contract in the face of fierce international competition, and their position as a major pioneer of electronic conference systems worldwide was a major factor in helping them to achieve this.
